Eisele, a 2019 right-handed hitting catcher/3B, stands at 5-foot-6 and weighs 155 pounds, ran a 5.03 from home to first. Offensively- Starts from an upright lower half, feet shoulder width apart with little to no bend in the knees, while the hands are even height and in front of the back shoulder and barrel of the bat 45 degrees from the ground. Gets to the launch phase of the swing with a stride of the lead foot, using a toe-to-heel movement after the stride, while the hands are loaded straight back outside the back shoulder. Displayed an ability to take the pitch in the lower third of the zone and drive it from center field to the opposite field gap. Recorded an exit velocity of 71 MPH on the day, which should improve with more drive and torque from the lower half. Defensively- Square primary setup, with most of the weight on the toes glove in front of the body with a fully extended elbow. Worked above the ball, with the elbow rotating above the glove when receiving, causing a drop when trying to present the ball. Transfer was made from the center of the body although the hands get a bit tight to the body, causing a delay of the transfer. Throws to second, could show more carry with an ability to create a shorter arm action, which would help keep the lower and upper half more in sync. Recorded a pop time of 2.38 and an arm velocity of 60 MPH on the day.
