Physical: 6-foot-1, 180 pounds; long, firm frame. 7.65 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Slightly open stance with weight preloaded on the back leg. Hands are up by the shoulders with constant wiggle in the barrel; rotates the torso, showing his number to the pitcher before anything. Transfers the weight on his back leg and goes into a stride forward. Explosive lower half movements that generate good separation with uphill swing path due to his hands creeping down throughout his load, top hand dominant. Hit the ball with ease to the left side of the field, low effort swing with repeatability; peak Trackman exit velocity of 87 MPH.
Defensively: Bent at the waist and the knees, slight lean forward; sits back and lets the ball come to him, takes laid back steps to get to the spot. Soft hands into a clean transfer to throw; long, extremely loose arm action through a 3/4 slot. INF - 74 MPH.
Pitching: Slow, choppy pace in the delivery that works to a balance point at the top of the leg lift. Stab down out of the glove into a quick flip up to throw out of a 3/4 slot. FB: T 76 MPH, 73-75 MPH. Filled up the strike zone, threw the FB to his glove side even better. SL: 65-67 MPH. Slider had down and glove side break to it, gradually breaking the whole way to the plate. CH: 64-66 MPH. Changeup stayed down in the zone, threw it well to the armside with fade.
