2028 OF/C Colin Raymond (The Stony Brook School). Strong, physical frame with surprising speed, running a 6.54 sixty. Low, flexible setup behind the dish with soft hands, a clean, low-crease transfer, and short, high-3/4 slot that creates true carry. Stings the ball with true authority out front; loud, violent contact when on time. High-ceiling power profile. Elite visual tracking allows him to recognize spin early out of the hand.

Raymond is one of the more physically advanced freshmen you’ll find in the country, standing a physical 6-foot-2, 200-pounds. The strength in the frame would show up in a massive way during his last at-bat of the weekend. Exploding through the zone, Raymond would lose every-bit of one to the pull-side for a towering Home-Run, 100 EV, 387 FT. Consistently delivers a heavy barrel to find solid impact through the zone with an aptitude to work to all-fields. The mature approach stands out whether facing high-velocity or spin to go along with a keen eye and an advanced understanding of the zone. Must know name in the ‘28 class.
