New York Games (June 27-29, 2016)
Stands 6-foot-2 165-pounds with a tall wiry frame. Pitching- Velocity has been between 80-83-mph with good movement, sitting 77-79 at the NY Games. Showed good command of pitches including a breaking ball with good shape and ability to freeze hitters. With a highly projectable frame Tytka is an intriguing arm to keep eyes on. With a little funky arm action from 3/4 slot he's able to get movement on all pitches. As his frame gets stronger velocity should see some serious gains as well.

April 2016
Tytka stands 6-foot-2, 165-pounds with a tall wiry frame. In a 6-1 win over Nichols, Tytka struck out 14, walked only 1 and gave up only 2 hits in a complete game W for St. Mary’s.  The Junior arm showed command of all 3 of his pitches.  Tytka has typically been 80-83 early on with raw pitchability that just keeps continuing to improve and impress. Tytka looks to be one of the highlight arms in the Buffalo area 2017 class.
Preseason All-State (February 28, 2016)
At first glace the St. Marys junior shows plenty to dream on. Standing a lean 6-foot-2, 165-pounds with more size projection to his frame. Pitching - he uses a wider-relaxed setup, hands go high with his knee, breaks over the rubber as he powers towards home. Full-circle arm-action with some upper-torso lean towards first. Releases the ball from a high-3/4 slot with some life to his 80-83 mph fastball with more velocity projection to come. Curveball has good rotation sitting 74-75 with late 11/4 shape. Change up sits 75-76 with some arm-fade. Tytka will be on full display this June 27-29 in the 2nd Annual New York State Games.
