The right-handed hitter begins with a balanced, open stance utilizing a leg-lift to initiate his swing. Demonstrated feel for a flat barrel path through the zone generating barrel whip on 85 mph bat-exit velocities. Featured a strong lower half with sink coupled with feel for his hands allowing for repeatability in the swing. The primary outfielder showcased adequate footwork creating advantageous attack angles to the ball. Arrived on time consistently yielding momentum towards the target on accurate 74 mph throws. The right-handed pitcher utilized a short takeaway and quick, high ¾ arm-slot to sit 71-74 mph. Countered with a 62-64 mph curveball showing 11/5 tilt.
Has an athletic, projectable build at 6-foot-1,185 pounds. Ran a 7.75 in the 60 yard dash. Offensively- Stands in the box with a slight open stance. Throws his hands into the hitting zone. Displayed a flat bat path throughout the hitting zone. Had hard consistent contact throughout the hitting portion. Gets full use of the lower half and full extension after the point of contact. Defensively- Active footwork coming in on the ball, quick transfer on a high ¾ arm action. Athletic footwork to gain momentum on throws to the plate. Pitching- A repeatable delivery with tempo. Gets on the back side and drives down the mound towards the target. Has command of the FB (74 MPH) and CB (64-66 MPH) with a late break down in the zone. The 2020 graduate as the frame to continue to increase numbers.
