At the plate, the right handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance with feet shoulder width apart. Quick direct path to the baseball. Swartwood sprayed the ball all over the field during batting practice at the 2019 Fall Top Prospect Games. Stays balanced throughout the swing. Defensively, at first, moves well around the bag. Sits back and waits for the baseball. Takes his time to gather himself when throwing the baseball across the diamond. Swartwood has a projectable frame and is a must follow as he continues to develop.
