A lean athletic build at 5-foot-8, 150 pounds. Ran a 7.25 in the 60 yard dash. Offensively- Stands in the box with a slight bend in his knees and an open stance. Has a quick direct path to the baseball. Short compact swing. Stays balanced throughout his swing. Shows good bat control. Top exit velocity was 78 MPH. Defensively- Has an aggressive approach to the baseball and stays under control and gets rid of the ball quickly. Throws from a ¾ arm slot. Shows an accurate arm. Top throwing velocity was 78 MPH.
Oswego (July 25, 2018)
Athletic build at 5-foot-8 140 pounds for the OF/RHP. Offensively- Slightly open, spread stance with a small barrel tip that results in an occasional late arrival into the zone. When on time the hands are quick through the ball; can work it around the field but mostly pull to middle line drive results. Defensively- Controlled approach; receives the ball outside his lead leg using a quick pro-step shuffle to turn his body. Average but accurate arm at 77 MPH from the OF. Pitching- Center rubber setup with side step that leads to belt high leg drive. Slight lean at the belt hides the ball out of the glove; arm action has moderate length working through a low 3/4 slot. Plenty of dip and fade to his change (arm-side). Shape of breaking ball will need to be more consistent.
