WNY ASG (September 23, 2018)
Lean frame at 5-foot-10, 130-pounds. Ran a 8.30 60 yard dash. Offensively – Narrow, upright set-up. Starts open to the pitcher before squaring up with forward move. Uses balanced leg lift to create separation. Hands stay relaxed and showed consistent rhythm. Level, compact swing with quick wrists. High, one-handed finish. Exit Velocity was 72 MPH. Defensively – Smooth fielding actions in the OF. Stays under control while tracking the ball. Exchanges ball in center of body after receiving. Loose, whippy arm action with projection left. Uses a crow hop to create momentum on throws. Arm strength was 70 MPH.
Oswego (July 25, 2018)
Wiry build at 5-foot-10, 130 pounds. Plenty of room for additional strength gains. Offensively- Spread stance, slight leg kick; weight transfers slightly forward but under control. Slight sweep through the zone with a 2-handed finish; works the middle of the field. Defensively- Controlled approach; fundamental crowhop after fielding ball outside front leg. Long arm action with a high 3/4 release. Strength gains coupled with long toss will help for the 2019 grad.
