Offensively: Switch-hitter - Mirrored from both sides starting at a taller, upright, and even stance with the hands showing quick rhythm at the shoulder. Utilized a stretched, slotted move backwards on time with a controlled toe-tap stride, producing good bat-speed through a flat path into the hitting zone. Hit behind the ball well en route to a 45% fly ball rate (284 foot batted ball distance) adding an 85 mph bat-exit velocity via Trackman during his round. Mostly singles power for the moment, on the barrel with consistency to the pull-side approach, able to lift on occasion to the LCF gap. Measurables will soon increase as he keeps gaining muscle.
Defensively: The primary backstop featured a moderate postured, left-knee down receive with a soft glove hand working calmly at the catch. Pop times ranged from 2.10-2.16 with quick, in-line directional footwork and a lengthy H ¾ slot on the backside (72 mph arm). Able to use the turf at times accurately to the arm-side, utilizing on-time pre-catch rhythm to create early momentum over the front-side.

Recorded an 82 mph peak bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball while notching a 50% fly ball rate during batting practice; interesting bat to ball skills (68% on-plane efficiency) pointing towards the ability to continue hitting for some average as he matures. Very intriguing prospect with developing switch-hitting abilities, as well as a high ceiling with the projectability present.
Defensively: The primary backstop featured average receiving skills with a soft glove hand at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 2.22-2.29 with easy, replaced feet when getting in-line towards the target; accurate, high ¾ slot from the crouch (68 mph) with room for more as he continues gaining strength, minor pause in the transfer which could improve pop times even more, developing blocking skills with the glove hand beating the ball low to the spot.
