New England Top Prospect Games (Sept. 25, 2015)
At 5-foot-11, 175 pounds the frame has plenty of room to fill out. The delivery is easy, clean, free and repeatable. The hands start low and have good rhythm as they raise when the knee comes up. The front side is strong, direction is good to the plate. The arm slot is ¾ with a nice clean arm swing. The fastball was 83-84 MPH with good sink/run to arm-side. Pounded the zone to both sides with fastball. Threw a curveball at 67-68 and a nasty slurvy slider at 74/75. The changeup was 74, good sink and was able to use entire body to throw it. Times to the plate were quick at 1.0-1.10, tempo to the motion is very good, gets it going. Reminds me of Andrew Bailey, a quick arm and same type of hammer at this stage. Definite follow, go see him.
