June 25-27, 2018 (NYS Games)

60 Yard Dash:
7.38
Exit Velocity:
82
Positional Arm:
79

Wiry lean build with room for growth as he matures. Clean, easy actions defensively. Clean quick arm action with 79 mph arm-strength across the field, easy carry to the bag. Very confident with his defensive skills. Offensively, movement with hands in the box. Barrel is whippy and loose through contact. Needs to work on a more full finish after contact. 82 mph bat speed with easy power potential as he gains strength.
Preseason - West (February 19, 2018)
Slightly open stance on the set up hands high relaxed loose,  knee lifts for timing, small stride on the pitch, barrel is upright,   fluid swing on an uphill plane, 75 mph exit velocity off a tee.  Defensively, rangy showing confidence with the glove, active lower half wide set up, hands out in front, soft glove quick transfer from a High 3/4 slot, 75 mph across the diamond arm strength. slick fielding defender Helen from WNY.
Campus Series-Canisius (July 5, 2017)
Corry stands in at 5-foot-10, 145-pounds with a lean athletic frame. Ran a 4.54 home to first. Offensively- Lefty sets up slightly open with his feet shoulder width apart. Shows a back-knee bend with a straight front leg and upright torso. Holds the bat in front of his back shoulder and uses little pre-pitch bat movement prior to the pitch. On pitch, his trigger is a slight knee raise to stride forward squaring up with the pitcher while his hands move back into the hitting position. Gets good lower body rotation utilizing the whole-body frame in the swing. Shows quick hands to the hitting zone with an upward lift barrel action throughout into a high two-handed finish. Demonstrated gap to gap ability during batting practice rounds. Overall a good swing with a lot of room for growth. Recorded an exit velocity of 78 MPH. Defensively- Good approach and footwork getting in front of the baseball. Fielding mechanics are smooth with a good funnel into the chest and quick transition to the throwing position. Tends to double tap ball in glove prior to the through. Needs to be more aggressive with the footwork towards intended target to get rid of the ball quicker. Moves well left/right and fields smooth on the run. Recorded a positional arm velocity of 77 MPH. Overall a good prospect to keep an eye on.
