Athletic build with strong lower body. Mid 3/4 release point with good repeatable mechanics. Fastball shows late life with effective secondary pitches. Change up sinks arm side while curve ball shows tight cross plate spin.
Preseason All-State (February 20, 2017)
Gordon stands 6-foot-0, 170-pounds with an athletic build, also ran 6.99 60-yard dash showing athleticism from the position. Pitching- Clean delivery, arm-action is short, hand drops below waist during circle, releases from a mid-3/4 slot with a fastball topping 79 mph with signs of more to come. Shows advanced feel for changeup sitting 66-68 mph with depth and fade arm-side. High follow this spring and summer.
