Evans is a slender 6-foot-1 155-pound SS that runs a 7.2 60. Offensively- Hands start at ear level and cock to a 45-degree angle; toe tap load allows Evans to get on backside quickly and smoothly. Hands are short to the ball, and the backside drives through well. High, one-arm finish, and as Evans gets stronger his 82 MPH exit velocity will likely see an increase. Defensively- Evans is very quick laterally, giving himself plenty of time to get into the correct fielding position. Head is down and transfer is clean. Sets himself up nicely when going to backhand/forehand and has confidence while charging the slow roller. At times a bit upright with his lower half when receiving forehand groundballs. Throws 79 MPH from a low ¾ arm slot; featuring a quick release.
