6-foot-2 outfielder is a Colgate University commit where he will play football; at the plate he shows strong, quick hands, keeps bat plane level through the zone, uses all fields, gap power that has to be respected, impressive plate coverage, uses counter rotation between upper body and lower torso to generate power. Tracks the ball well in the outfield; above average arm. On the mound he uses height to get downward plane on fastball with late movement, consistently induces weak contact.

Good frame, showed some offensive abilities at the plate. Sat 78-80 MPH on the mound.

Petrichick has a large and sturdy frame at 6-foot-2, 200 pounds. Recorded a time of 4.43 seconds from home to first base. Offensively- Starts with wide feet and front foot open. Knees are bent and hands are at shoulder height. Strides towards home plate, closing off stance as hands load backwards. Hip turn is slight and most of power comes from upper half. Hands get slightly away from body before coming forward through contact. Long extension through contact with a high finish. Had an exit velocity of 80 MPH off the tee.Increased lower half involvement will help him reach his power potential. Defensively- Fields ball outside his body off of his left foot. Takes extra steps before using a crossover to set up his throw. Uses a short arm action that comes through at a ¾ arm slot. Had a throwing velocity of 81 MPH.
