6/30/21

Physical: Projectable, athletic 6-foot-2, 180lb frame with feel available. 7.55 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH - Even, upright stance with a minor bend in the knees; early rhythm in the hands, utilizing a short lift and replace stride to initiate a slightly uphill path into the hitting zone. Stayed mostly vertical on the approach with good bat to ball skills and a short, efficient swing. Notched a T88 mph bat-exit velocity (via Trackman) with ability to hit pitches hard in any quadrant; posted a 33% line drive and 42% fly ball rate respectively, lifting all over the middle of the field. Recorded a 315 foot batted ball distance at his peak with doubles power when getting extended out over the plate.

Defensively: The outfielder read the ball off the bat with downhill chest angles over the toes; clean fielding actions off the left side, exchanging to the throwing hand and released from a H ¾ slot (accurate, 82 mph arm, corner OF projection, above-average feel).

2/18/21

Physical: Strong, lengthy 6-foot-2, 180-pound frame. 7.78 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Doubles power at the moment with ability to accrue extra base hits in both gaps during batting practice; hit into a stiff front side from an adjustable lower half at the plate.

Defensively: The primary outfielder got behind the ball well with lateral movements before attacking downhill, slight down chest angles and a soft glove hand presented off the left foot, corralled into the belt loop with a live, high ¾ slot on the way through (84 mph). Good pace from his position, should slot into a corner outfields spot .. The third baseman worked right to left on time at the fielding window from a low, usable position. Rhythmic in and out transfers and got the shoulders in-line, firing from a high ¾ slot across the diamond (84 mph). Positional flexibility is there in the INF and OF.
