8/7/18: St. John Fisher (Campus Series)
Stands 5-foot-9, 171-pounds from a strong build. At SS he moves his lower half is active to the ball, glove is out in front, quick transfer, strong arm across the diamond with carry at 78 mph, next-level defender. Offensively – Upright stance that finishes closed off to the pitcher. Hands work low and then get loaded back into a strong hitting position. Stays behind the baseball and finds barrel. Balanced finish. 85 mph exit velo with more in the tank.
Preseason - West (February 19, 2018)
At the plate he uses an upright stance, that waggle, on the pitch strides with a leg lift, Barrel is mostly level with a medium length finish, exit velocity was 77 mph off of tea, expect to see more come the summer. Defensively, attacks the ball with aggressive mechanics, quick release from a high 3/4, 74 mph across the diamond arm strength.
