Pena is an explosive athlete with a filled out 6-foot-0 195 pound frame. He ran a 6.99 60. Offensively- The LHH hitter starts in an even setup with a quiet load of the hands and an abbreviated toe tap. Aggressive lower half and flat swing plane through the zone with a late one-hand finish. Line drive results middle to pull side with with some juice to to RF; middle of the order threat. Exit velocity peaked at 93 MPH. Defensively- In the OF Pena demonstrated a controlled approach; quick turn of the body utilizing more of a shuffle step release instead of a full blown crow hop. Above average arm at 86 MPH that may even have more velo if his body gets involved. Quick release; high end acceleration with a recoil at the end. RF projection at higher level.

Athletic/slender build; hits from left side. Patient approach; drew 3 walks, smoked opposite field double on a line (RBI). One stolen base in the first; caught stealing in the 7th. Accelerates well out of the box (4.28 on groundout to SS). Fast twitch; quick hands. Glides in the outfield.
