Physical: 6-foot-0, 230 pounds; full, physical build. 8.05 runner in the 60. Offensively: LHH. Both knees remain fairly bent with an upright torso, keeps the hands behind the ear with a relaxed bat on his shoulder; uses a small lift and replace, casts the hands backward during the load. Smooth turn in the lower half fires the back hip through the zone creating good separation with a long, dragging swing but turns the barrel as it approaches the zone; bottom hand dominant swing. Hit hard line drives to all parts of the field with easy, low effort swing allows him to barrel the ball up easily; peak Trackman exit velocity of 91 MPH. Defensively: Slightly bent knees with some lean forward, stays low to the ground; takes some prep steps to approach the ball nicely around the right side and works directly through it. Firm hands that field easily and transfer with some feet shuffle mixed in; short take away from the glove, engages the scap nicely and fires through a loose 3/4 slot. INF - 77 MPH. Pitching: Deliberate in his actions through the delivery, throws off a firm front leg. Long drop out of the glove but quickly flips up into position to throw from a 3/4 slot. FB: Peak velo of 80 MPH, while sitting 79-80 MPH. Located his FB exceptionally well in his side, command is clean. SL: 67-70 MPH. Spun a nice slider with some bite to the glove side, good pitch that he tunnels well off his FB. SPL: 74-75 MPH. Had some difficulty commanding but it did show promising tumble and fade, quality 2K pitch if commanded.
