Physical: Ultra-lean, 5-foot-11, 165lb frame with athleticism present and some twitch available. 6.95 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, wider stance as the hands operated by the shoulder to begin. Utilized a lift and replace stride to a stretched position with weight shift initiating a flat path into the hitting zone. Natural feel for the barrel, staying at a moderate, balanced posture and rotated smoothly to the front of the plate while producing a 30% line drive rate (via Trackman). Flashed a middle of the field type approach with ready bat to ball skills en route to a T88 mph bat-exit velocity during his round (312 foot batted ball distance, doubles power in the box).
Defensively: The primary outfielder presented centerfield qualities at times with a quick first step and lower posture over the front side. A soft glove hand fielded accurately, exchanging to a H ¾ slot with a fast release (82 mph arm, small crow hop). Able to create range in either direction with good reads in the air. Then moved to the infield with a hop in the “prep step” as he stayed light on his feet. Moved comfortably to his glove hand, releasing in rhythm with some arm-side run to the target (tempo, 72 mph arm, second base projection).
