Physical: 6-foot-0, 150 pounds; lean, wiry build. 7.75 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Slightly open, weight loaded 60/40 on backside ; small leg kick, shoots hands backward. Clears hips, shifts weight efficiently to front foot on swing with long path, gets hands extended over plate well with slight lift. Solid line drives up the middle and pull side ; peak Trackman exit velocity of 82 MPH.
Defensively: Upright setup with bend at the belt ; laid back steps, can cover good ground laterally. Fields out in front, funnels in front of body, clean transfer; short arm action, takes ball from glove directly up to his ear. INF - 66 MPH.
Pitching: Sets up on the first base side of the rubber, easy, repeatable mechanics into leg lift. Moderate arm swing with a high 3/4 slot. FB: T 77MPH, 75-77 MPH. Fastball plays up in the zone with some ride . CB: 63-65 MPH. When he got extended on it, the ball had good shape dropping to the bottom of the zone. CH: 61-64 MPH.
