Has a lean athletic frame at 5-foot-8, 155 pounds. Ran a 7.67 in the 60 yard dash. Offensively- Stands in the box in a tall stance and loose hands and takes a short stride towards the pitcher. Throws his hands into the hitting zone. Showed consistent hard contact to the middle and opposite side of the field. Gets good use of lower half. Gets good extension after the point of contact. Top exit velocity was 81 MPH. Defensively- Shows active footwork. Stays under control when fielding the baseball. Uses a glove tap for timing to gather himself on throws across the diamond. Throws from a high ¾ arm slot. Moves well laterally. Top throwing velocity was 74 MPH.
A lean 5-foot-8, 155 pounds. Ran a 7.53 60 yard dash. Offensively- Stands in the box with a tall stance and slight bend in the knees. Displayed a quick bat into the hitting zone with a flat bat path. Consistent hard contact during the hitting portion. Contact type player at the next level. Exit velocity was 82 MPH. Defensively- Aggressive to the ball. Plays with a bounce to his step in the infield. Smooth transition to a quick release from a ¾ arm slot.
Proportional build with wiry, developing frame. Offensively – Sets-up in an upright stance with feet square to pitcher, just slightly outside of shoulder width. Uses short, quick forward stride to initiate swing. Loose hands with natural feel for finding barrel. Swing stays level thru the zone. Relaxed, low effort hitting actions. Gets full rotation from lower half as he finishes swing against a firm front side. Defensively – Quick, active feet on defensive. Maintains body control while moving laterally. Funnels ball out front with upper body stacked over glove hand. Uses side shuffle to reset feet with direction towards target. Loose arm action with ¾ release point. Gets backside thru on all throws.
