7/29/19

Offensively- the left handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance feet shoulder width apart. Simple load actions. Quick direct path to the baseball. Slight lift at the point of contact. Sharkey finishes in an upright position. Defensively- the infielder displayed active footwork when approaching the baseball and around the bag. Smooth funnel actions and a quick release from a high ¾ arm slot on throws across the diamond. As an outfielder, Sharkey stays under control when approaching the baseball. Uses his active footwork to gain momentum on throws to the plate. Sharkey has a projectable frame and good actions to gain some attention.

7/16/19

Kyle is a tall lanky 1B/OF measuring at 6-foot-2 170 pounds. He hits from a tall athletic stance with a loose and compact swing. He hits out of a short toe tap with a high hand load over his back shoulder. Kyle stays inside the ball with effective barrel extension after contact. During batting practice, he showed the ability to drive the ball to all parts of the field. Kyle recorded an exit velocity of 80 mph. From first-base, Kyle has great feel and footwork around the bag. Shows good range on both back-hand and glove-side balls. Kyle has smooth arm action showing 74mph velocity across the diamond. From the outfield, Kyle is 76mph velocity keeping true ball flight through his target. Does a good job of creating an angel with his feet, putting his body in a good position to deliver a strong and accurate throw.
