WNY All-Star Games (September 24, 2017)
Geiss checks in at 6-foot1 180 pounds. Offensively- Sets up in a crouched stance with hands and weight pre-loaded over back leg. Short stride for timing; stays behind the ball with aggressive lower half effort. Consistent middle of the field/opposite field contact with line drive, flyball results. Exit velocity of 78 MPH. Defensively- Low to the ground setup, squares up with ball using crossover steps, proper footwork on throws. Infield arm strength was 67 MPH. Pitching- Geiss sets up center rubber with a mid-chest balance point; stays closed on stride and works over front leg. Arm extension is limited at times with a hint of deceleration. Works from a low 3/4 slot, commanding his FB to his arm side at 72-75 MPH. Slider checked in at 68-69 MPH.
Campus Series-Oswego (August 15, 2017)

Geiss stands 6-foot-1, 180-pounds with an athletic build. Offensively- Even stance setup, high elbow, short stride to ball, short path, slight uphill path to the ball, average extension, some power projection from good build. Defensively- At 1B fields through the ball, choppy with approach, 68 MPH arm on throws to 3B. Pitching- Wide setup, fast jerky motion, clean arm-action with a release from a low-mid ¾ slot. Fastball sits 72-75 MPH with arm-side run, curveball works as a sweeping slider type shape at 68-69 – razor blade actions at times. FB plays harder and is effective as he works a backwards approach with breaking ball early and often.
