Milton is a slightly built but athletic 5-foot-8 130 pounds who ran a 7.62 60 and a 4.30 home-to-1B (LHH). Offensively- Milton sets up in a spread and even stance with an aggressive leg kick back to the middle of his body, while coiling his hands into his load. Lots of energy into the ball as he lands closed and stays back. Gets back foot and hips through with some leveling prior to contact with and aggressive finish out of the body, attached to some weight transfer. Exit velocity was 75 MPH with line drive/gap contact. Defensively- Milton plays the ball with an aggressive mindset, yet under control. Quick exchange and moves well laterally. Covers ground well and moves through his throws. Arm strength peaked at 73 MPH across the diamond. Pitching- Milton sets up mid rubber with a short side step, driving up to a 3/4 chest high balance point. Arm action is long and loose with good arm speed. Lands under control with a bit of a spin-off towards the 1B line. Arm slot falls into a low 3/4 range with plenty of whip. FB sat 72-73 MPH, touching 74 MPH with more in the tank. Change up is a bit firm but features some late arm side fade at 67-68 MPH. Curveball was 61-62 with some early back up action. Arm slot may be more conducive for a slider over the long term. Good looking overall athlete.
