Lean, developing frame at 6-foot, 155-pounds. Offensively – Starts with feet square to the pitcher, just outside of shoulder width. Slight knee bend in set-up. Stays balanced while using a low, forward stride. Hands stay relaxed just below back shoulder. Showed a gap-to-gap approach during BP with simple, level swing. Balanced, one-handed finish against a firm front side. Defensively – In the OF, fluid defensive actions when tracking the ball. Light on his feet with direct routes. Comes thru the ball aggressively before getting into throwing motion. Compact arm action with ¾ release. Uses a side shuffle to create momentum. Catcher – Projectable catch and throw skills. Receives ball with soft glove hand and shows quick exchange while getting out of crouch. Quick arm action with over the top release. Loose, whippy finish to throwing motion. Gets backside thru all throws.
