6/30/21

Physical: Lean, developing 5-foot-7 145lb frame with athleticism found. 7.20 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: LHH - Top of the order type starting from a narrow, slightly open stance as the hands operated with quiet rhythm just above the shoulder; utilized a leg lift stride with a clean operation pre-swing, able to hold his position over the backside and create stretch at launch. Initiated through a twitchy, slightly uphill path with impressive bat to ball skills, notching a 60% line drive rate (via Trackman) through the middle/pull side of the field. Worked up to a T82 mph bat-exit velocity with good efficiency en route to doubles power on occasion. A late bloomer that can more than handle his own at the next level.

Defensively: The middle infielder featured a hop in the prep step, gaining significant range in either direction with route awareness and a natural crossover step. Stayed low to the ground and presented a soft glove out in front, fielding on-time right-left with advanced footwork and releasing in rhythm from H ¾ slot (78 mph arm, medium intent).

2/19/21

Physical: Compact, athletic build at 5-foot-7, 145 lbs. 7.08 runner in the 60.

Offensively: Balanced stance with feet even, knees bent and slightly pinched in while the hands start relaxed in front of the back shoulder; gains some ground with toe tap stride while the hands load straight back; barrel gets on plane early and stays long through the zone (83% On Plane Efficiency per Blast Motion) with quality bat to ball skills squaring up line drives to all fields. 82 MPH peak exit velo.

Defensively: Uses prep step; athletic footwork playing low to the ground and downhill through the ball, moves well to both sides; glove is soft fielding the ball in front with quick, clean transfers, short arm action to a natural 3/4 release. INF: 79 MPH

2/20/20

Physical: 5-foot-7, 140-pounds. Lean, athletic frame. 7.36 runner in the 60; 4.13 home-to-1B.
Offensively: LHH. Crouched stance with an even base, some bend in the knees, hands start low and work back and up on load along with a small leg lift for timing Flat, direct swing plane to the point of contact, finishes on an uphill plane, good use of the lower half. Opposite field gap approach. 73 MPH raw exit velocity.
Defensively: Starts low and stays low on approach, fields the ball off-center on his arm foot, can play well on the run. Medium arm swing with an over the top slot.  INF - 74 MPH.
