July 2018

Athletic, muscular build at 5-foot-9 160 pounds. LHH sets up slightly open with a compact line drive stroke; uses the middle of the field. Had a big time performance last week at the NYS Games up to 85 MPH on the mound and solid showing at the plate. Continued his stellar play Saturday at Cortland grinding out at bats from the leadoff slot; including a 3.88 home-to-1B on a bunt attempt. On the mound; slower pace to his delivery, drops some on his backside prior to powering forward. Fastball comes out from a high ¾ slot, quick hand-speed out in front, fastball peaked 84 mph, sitting 80-83 with some late jump in the zone, curveball has late tilt in the zone.

June 25-27, 2018 (NYS Games)

60 Yard Dash:
7.34
Exit Velocity:
86
Positional Arm:
77

Lean frame, proportional build. Athletic actions. Arm is smooth and simple with plenty of arm strength. At the plate he shows leverage in swing from the left-side, some juice potential to his pullside with 86 mph exit velo. Launched a HR at Binghamton University in their second game, overall a strong prospect positionaly. Pitching - Strongly built frame with good width and slope in his shoulders. Shows good athleticism and body control in his actions. Works from a high 3/4 release point and creates good downward angle. Arm has good quickness and hand speed as he finishes. Should be able to maintain peak velo in the future with added strength. Showed good pitchability and a willingness to throw secondary pitches in any count. Maxed out at 85 mph.

Preseason - Long Island (February 23, 2018)

Noah is a 5’9” 160 lb RHP/SS that ran a 4.48 home-to-first. Offensively: Left-handed batter that hit in a crouched stance with a small stride. Let the ball travel deep, finished with one-hand on the bat and got good extension. Defensively: Really good moving to his left and charging the ball, could use a shorter arm action. Pitching: Slight step back, letter-high leg kick with a slight hesitation prior to beginning falling action. Could improve extension. Showed good command of a wicked knuckleball and a 79-80 MPH fastball
