8/21/19

A projectable 6-foot-1, 165 pounds. The wiry right handed pitcher displayed a repeatable delivery and a projectable live arm from a high ¾ arm slot. Works downhill with low effort from a balanced backside. Displayed good command of a FB with late arm side run. Reilly also mixed in a CB ranging from 74-77 MPH. Offensively, the right handed hitter displayed a simple load and quick direct path to the baseball. Displayed hard consistent contact to the pull side of the field. Reilly did a good job using his lower half and staying balanced throughout the swing. Defensively, the OF waits back on the ball and gets rid of it quickly from a mid ¾ arm slot. Displayed an accurate arm on throws to the plate.

7/09/19

The 6-foot-1, 165-pound primary right-handed pitcher featured a long and lean frame with projectability. The righty utilized an up-tempo delivery with a high effort, high ¾ arm-slot. Demonstrated ability to get long out in front after a moderate takeaway in order to get downhill with arm-side run on an 80-82 mph fastball. Countered with a 70-71 mph curveball with some horizontal movement. Commanded a 73-74 mph changeup with arm-side fade thrown with adequate sell. The right-handed hitter starts from a tall, even stance with hands that start by the ear. A knee knock stride with some upper half stretch initiates a slightly uphill bat-path into the zone. Registered an 84 mph bat-exit velocity during batting practice generating backspin with strong sink into a solid lower-half. Showcased long, athletic actions in the outfield with feel for feet that arrived continuously on time to the baseball. Made calculated decisions and took precise routes to the baseball yielding accurate throws of 76 mph from the outfield.
