Physical: Durable 5-foot-11, 180lb frame with a high-waist and some strength in the lower half. 7.58 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Upright, even stance as the hands moved in rhythm at the shoulder; utilized a short lift and replace stride up/down, initiating the bat head through a slightly uphill path when turning tightly over the backside hip. Recorded a 46% line drive rate (via Trackman) mostly to the pull-side with a slightly rotational swing during batting practice. Notched a T87 mph bat-exit velocity en route to a near 300 foot batted ball distance on his best rep of the round with doubles power available when getting extended out over the plate.
Defensively: The primary middle infielder featured choppy, active feet approaching on time with a soft glove hand and using a glove tap (high posture after fielding) to release from an accurate H ¾ slot across the diamond (66 mph arm, repeatable actions). Projects a stay on the right side at second base moving forward.
