At the plate, the right handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance slightly open. Simple load actions and quick direct path to the baseball. Low effort actions. Displayed hard consistent contact during batting practice at the 2019 Fall Top Prospect Games. Defensively, Cook moved well around the bag. Sits back on the baseball and smooth exchange to low effort throwing action. Cook takes his time to gather himself when making throws across the infield. On the mound, Cook displayed a repeatable low effort delivery. Worked with a three pitch mix in live game action. Cook has a projectable frame and is a must follow as he continues to develop.
