Cape Cod: Was a wrecking ball late in the summer, crushing for a .385 average. The 20 year-old left-handed hitter impressed as a hard contact machine. With a thick, mature frame (6-foot-2, 220 pounds) he has a quiet, balanced approach in the box and slugged four home runs in just 45 plate appearances. One of which was off a pulled slider for a three-run homer that exited at 105 mph and traveled 412 feet. On our looks he also homered to right-center on an 85 mph changeup. At the hot corner he has limited range, but sure hands and enough arm strength to hold down the position over the long term. He did not commit an error in ten games.
