Displayed a lean and projectable 6-foot-2, 165-pound frame with obvious projectability. The right-handed hitter begins with a narrow, slightly open stance utilizing a leg-hang to initiate his swing. Showcased a line-drive approach during batting practice yielding a 69 mph bat-exit velocity. The primary first baseman demonstrated adequate footwork with long actions around the bag. A soft glove hand coupled with some range to both sides allowed for accurate 66 mph throws across the diamond. The right-handed pitcher utilized a long takeaway before a short, high ¾ arm-stroke on the way forward to sit 70-73 mph with the fastball. Commanded a 58-60 mph 11/5 curveball down in the zone with late depth.

Defensively- Displayed soft hands with an average transfer to a high ¾ arm slot. Stays under control when moving around the bag. Pitching- Works from the stretch. Has a repeatable mechanics. Smooth hand separations with a slight shoulder tilt going downhill with a long smooth arm action from a 3.4 arm slot. FB (71 MPH) has arm side run and the CB (53-56 MPH) has good break in the zone. The 2021 graduate has a projectable frame with some development to increase all his measurables going forward.

Lanky, projectable frame with rounded upper body. 6-foot-2, 155-pounds. Offensively – Narrow, upright set-up with front side slightly open to pitcher. Maintains some rhythm with hands before getting into low forward stride. Hands initiate swing from just below back shoulder, getting barrel on plane early. Swing stays flat thru the zone and shows some lift after contact. Hits against a firm front side. Defensively – Big target at 1B. Moves with clean, efficient footwork around the bag. Sinks hips and stays in wide, athletic base when fielding. High ¾ release point with clean, compact arm action. Uses side shuffle to redirect himself before throwing. Pitching - Worked exclusively out of the stretch from the left side of the rubber. Tall, balanced leg lift. Sinks considerably on backside as he breaks hands and starts working down the mound. Slight cross action in landing. Long, smooth arm action into ¾ release point. Creates tough downward angle on FB when everything is in rhythm. Improving strength will allow for a more consistent finish out over front side. Finishes all of his offerings with conviction and drives throwing shoulder thru his target.
