The right handed hitter stands in the box with feet shoulder width apart. Short simple load action. Haglund displayed a short compact swing during the batting practice portion. Defensively, Haglund displayed active footwork. Does a good job staying behind the baseball. Haglund Throws from a high 3/4 arm slot. Haglund is a player to watch.
An athletic build at 6-foot-1, 160 pounds projectable frame. Ran a 7.68 in the 60 yard dash. Offensively- Stands in the box with a bend in the knees in a crouched position. Has short simple load actions. Quick direct path to the baseball. Gets in an out of the zone quickly. Gets good use of the lower half. Stays balanced throughout his swing. Showed some pull side pop. Top exit velocity was 83 MPH. Defensively- aggressive to the baseball. Fields the ball slightly off center. Has a quick exchange and throws from a high , arm slot. Throws have some carry. Top throwing velocity was 79 MPH. Pitching- Displayed a repeatable delivery. Gets early hand separation from a high knee lift. FB has arm side run and ranged from 72-74 MPH. FB peaked at 74 MPH. CB has tight early spin and late downward break and ranged from 60-61 MPH.
