Summer Preview North (June 2, 2018) 

Campione has a lean and athletic build at 6-foot, 170 pounds. Works from the first base side of the rubber with feet staggered. Works quickly with rhythm and tempo. Stride direction is in line. Smooth, clean delivery. High leg kick. Strong frontside, is able to create downhill leverage. Throws from a high 3/4 arm slot. Arm action is long, loose, and clean. From the stretch, feet begin closed and back leg preset. Fastball sat in the 83-84 MPH range while topping 85 MPH, one of the tops at the event. Fastball has down angle and late life. Curveball showed 11/5 shape with tendency to back up a touch at 71-72 MPH. Changeup displayed late fade at the bottom of the zone at 73-74 MPH. 

April 2018

Lean, athletic Strike thrower who works both sides of the plate; sat 81-83 MPH, touching a couple of 84 MPH FB in sub 40 degree weather. High ¾ arm slot  with easy, repeatable delivery. CB featured 12-to-6 action at 66-68 MPH; can throw for strikes. Showed a couple changes at 71-72 MPH. Sustained velocity into the 7th inning.

NY Games (June 25-27, 2017)

Slender 5-foot-11, 155-pound right-hander. Pitching - uses height to create downward plane out of a ¾ slot, consistently down in the zone, clean arm action, uses hip tilt at balance point to generate momentum on 79-81 MPH fastball that touches 82 MPH, gets good late bite on slider at 65-67 MPH, easy to see him adding velocity to his fastball as he grows into his frame.
