On the pitch he strides to even, loads back, hands stay inside his body, barrel stays mostly even through the contact zone, full finish, exit velocity was 79 MPH. Mix of flyball/line drive results. Defensively- From behind the dish he setups slightly high with an angled stance. Gains ground towards 2B with a slightly segmented transfer. Arm action is short; throws from an high 3/4 slot at 68 MPH. At 3B, active footwork opening his glove side and playing through the ball. Varies his arm slot; arm strength across the diamond was 72 MPH. Improved arm strength will help an existing solid foundation at both positions.
