Pitching: Canning uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride while landing closed. Moderate arm swing while without restrictions, while working through a standard 3/4 slot. Upright with finish. FB: Peak velo of 83 MPH, while sitting 81-83 MPH; commands both sides. SL: 74-76 MPH; short action. CH: 70-73 MPH; maintains same plain. OTHER: SPLT 75-76 MPH; late drop.
Physical: Athletic, compact build at 5-foot-8, 150 lbs.
Pitching: Builds momentum well with a short side step and a leg lift just above the belt with a slight turn, strides slightly closed off for some crossfire finishing with intent against a firm front side.
