We've seen Tyler as a position player but this was our first look on the mound. The filled out/full bodied RHP sat 79-81 MPH, touching 82 MPH with primarily a 2S FB that featured some sink. CB sat 67-68 MPH early on with 2-to-8 action but dropped down to 63-64 MPH as arm lagged underneath later in game. Showed a few change ups in the 67-70 MPH range but lacked feel. Pounds the zone, stays around the knees.

Big bodied RHH who was at 1B today (also an rotation arm). Defensively adequate with his feet, hands and around the bag. At the plate Tyler uses an even setup with hands up and off back shoulder. Stays inside the ball well with a short stroke. Was able to get his arms extended in the 1st inning on an up in and in low 80's FB, launching a 2-run homerun to deep left field.
