Tyler is a 5-foot-10, 155 pound LHP. Pitching- Tyler begins with a semi-sideways windup, about 45 degrees towards the first base line. Off to the middle right side of the rubber, he moves into a high, tucked in leg kick, putting himself in a nice balanced power position. Extends to a long stride and violent follow through with an over the top arm slot. FB featured some arm side run at 80-82 MPH (a noticeable 2 to 4 MPH jump from April). Locates well to both corners, down in the zone. Curveball breaks 12-to-6 averaging 68-70 MPH; above average action. Working primarily off his fastball, he did show his changeup on occasion at 70-71 MPH with some late sink.

Brill has a lean build with a frame that could certainly take on some good strength with some time in the weight room. Showed a lot of upside on the mound. Uses a very slow controlled set up in his delivery, gets tall on his backside before working down hill. At times he would come across early glove side and lose extension and control of his breaking ball. FB was 76-78 MPH with a late breaking 70-mph curveball. His breaking ball shows good potential but needs to command it better. He continued to miss glove side a lot and was not able to get the corner. Brill is worth keeping eyes on. If he continues to develop he’s going to be a solid LHP heading into his senior year in 2017.
