William Canale III: RHP/SS, (2023) Niskayuna, NY. Le Moyne College Commit, 6-foot-1, 170-pound lanky athletic build. Projectable athletic on the mound, used a loose quick arm action and a high ¾ arm angle while showing developing arm speed. Feel type pitcher who uses easy effort. Balance point is tall with in line shoulders during delivery. Lands closed with a balanced finish. Sat with his fastball at 83-84 mph; had command arm side in the zone and running action. (Max spin 2275; Avg 2092). Shows sweeping action on his 11/5 sharp curveball (68-69). (Max spin 2521; Avg 2477). Had arm side around the zone control and gradual fading action on his changeup (79-80). Keep an eye on this arm, as the frame projects and with added strength you should see a serious bounce in velocity.
