Begins in an athletic stance with a compact load, then uses a controlled stride. Has quick bat speed, simple upward swing plane and high finish. Solid showed his live arm in the infield with position velocities up to 88 mph; had quick footwork, sure hands, and a fluid exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Used a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.37. On the mound, showed quick arm speed, also used a compact arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2092; Avg 2038). Shows a 11/5 curveball with gradual action. (Max spin 1979; Avg 1944).
