A catching prospect in the 2018 class. Starts in a high crouch behind the plate. Exchanges skills are impressive and he gets rid of the ball quickly arm is an above average tool as well. Registered pop times between 1.9-2.00, showing 76 mph arm strength to second base. At the plate he starts in a wider setup and uses a no stride approach. Generates momentum through a toe turn to get hips involved. Bat starts on shoulder and creates a more explosive angle as he loads. Barrel whips through the zone on a mostly level path. Showed his strength by registering a top exit velocity of 92 mph. Has some room to grow mechanically but has the natural tools to do damage at the plate.
