6/6/17 A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Stands out immediately for his strength. Bat speed is well above average as well. Somewhat raw mechanically but natural tools are loud. Ball jumps off his bat to both sides of the field. Has power potential in there. In the outfield he plays under control approaching the baseball. Will need to get to the baseball with more sense of urgency moving forward. Plays through the baseball adequately and showed above average arm strength. In the infield he is mechanically sound with average glove skills. Would like to see him play with more fluidity. Looks to be a second baseman mold. 60-yard dash: 6.88 Outfield Velocity:82 Infield Velocity: 78 Exit Velocity: 97
2/18/17 5-foot-11, 190-pound prospect with strong, athletic frame. Current skill set projects him as a second baseman at the next level. Shows good athleticism in his feet. Plays on his toes and creates angles towards first base. Good range to both sides. Uses short arm action. Top velocity of 76 mph. Would like to see transfer speed up. Brings an unusual amount of pop to the plate for the second base position. Natural tools at the plate are loud and impressive. Ball jumps off his bat when he finds the barrel. Every time we see him he gets cleaner mechanically as well. Projects as a run producer at the next level.
Home to First: 4.31 Infield Velocity: 76 Exit Velocity: 93
1/16/17 At the plate he does a nice job of gathering and transferring weight. Advanced strength and bat speed. Ball jumps off his bat. Would like to see him loosen up his hands to let them work more freely as they have a tendency to get tied up. In the infield he showed smooth actions and fluid footwork. Glove skills are above average.
6/21/16 5-foot-11, 180- pound prospect. Ran a 4.64 from home to first. In the infield he has athletic actions with quickness to his feet. Does a nice job of staying low even on the move. Glove skills are there. Threw across the infield with 74 mph arm strength. Solid infielder. At the plate he creates good energy into contact with his lower half. Batspeed is there and he gets through the zone on a nice, level path. Produces line drives in batting practice and reached a top exit velocity of 91 mph. Only adjustment would be making sure he doesn’t get to his front side to early.
