Alijah Evans: RHP/2B, (2022) Crestline, OH. 6-foot, 172-pound athletic frame. Athletic in the box, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 85 mph. Begins in an athletic stance with a quick load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed is above average, displays a rotational swing plane and low finish. Found some barrels during his rounds. Pull side approach. Athletic in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 83 mph; shows athletic smooth feet, soft sure hands, and a natural fluid exchange. Had a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot. On the mound, showing quick arm speed he used a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Up-tempo type pitcher and shows easy effort. Showed an athletic balance point. Threw his fastball 80-84 mph; has cutting action with heavy movement. Shows sweeping action on his 10/4 curveball (64-65). His tight slider (68-72) shows hard action.
