Andrew Montero: OF/LHP, (2025) Upper Arlington High School, OH. 6-foot, 170-pound. (68.1 mph bat speed average). (21.5 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick, uses a simple upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid in the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 87 mph; had soft hands, a natural exchange, and consistent footwork. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. On the mound, using a loose arm action he showed consistent arm speed from a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Has slight running action. (Max spin 2273; Avg 2189). Shows some action on his 10/4 curveball. (Max spin 1964; Avg 1849).
