A mound prospect in the 2018 class. The right-hander has an uptempo delivery that requires little effort. Rolls quickly through his leg lift into his load. Lower half creates solid direction and he finishes towards home plate. Arm action is shorter as he moves through a high-¾ slot. Fastball sat 74-77 mph with occasional run. Spins an 11/5 shaped breaking ball that shows signs of sharpness with some depth to it. Locates the offering well and will use it in any count. Won’t blow hitters away but can change pace well and move both offerings around the strike zone.

6-foot-2, 215-pound strong build. At the plate he starts open before using a smooth, leg kick load to initiate his lower half. Starting with the bat vertical Anthony gets natural whip through the zone on a level path. Worked well to opposite field in batting practice. Strong kid. Registered an exit velocity of 76 mph with much more in the tank. On the mound he shows an easy effort delivery with good direction to the plate, landing on line at foot strike. Short back arm action into a high ¾ slot. Fastball sat 72-75 mph. Curveball sat 63-66 mph with 12/6 action and gradual break.
