1/20/20 Pitching
Delivery Notes: Moves with a slower paced tempo on the mound to a delivery that requires little effort. Arm is compact though a high-3/4 slot. Varied finish between in line and first base fade.
Fastball: Mostly true with downhill tendencies. Located the offering well. 75-78 mph.
Fastball Spin Rate: 1600-1900.
Curveball: Near 12/6 shape with a nice combination of depth and action. 65-66 mph.
Curveball Spin Rate: 1900-2100.
Changeup: Playable third offering with a fastball look out of the hand.
Pitchability: Strike thrower for the most part.

5/28/19

Body Type: 5-foot-8, 155-pound thin frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes:
Smooth delivery with on time arm action. Uses lower half well throughout delivery.
Fastball:
73-75 mph. Slight arm side run.
Curveball:
63-65 mph. Good bite with 12/6 movement.

Pitchability: Ability to induce soft contact with good curveball.
Additional Comments:
Good mental feel for the game increasing ability to get outs.

Body Type: 5-foot-8, 155-pound, prospect with thin frame.
Swing Mechanics:
Closed off, direct to the ball with minimal load.
Hit:
Stays inside the baseball thru the zone, worked mostly to the opposite field.
Power:
Generates some loft on the ball, limited present power. 76 mph exit velocity.
Offensive Projection:
TBD.
Run:
4.71 H to 1st
Field:
Moves well laterally, could do a better job playing thru the ball. Glove is solid, transfer/release need continued development.
Throw:
Present below average arm strength at 71 mph. Throws were accurate.
Defensive Projection:
Project more as a second baseman at this stage.
Additional Comments:
Has good feel for what’s happening at the plate. Would benefit from added strength as well as improving ability to play thru the ball.

2/16/19

Body Type: 5-foot-7, 135 pounds. Smaller athletic build with room to fill in.
Swing Mechanics:
Hits out of a narrow stance showing ability to utilize lower half well in his swing process. Uphill bat path getting on plane with pitches and staying through them.

Hit: Hands were quick to the ball promoting a shorter swing but got on several balls and made solid contact.
Power:
77 mph exit velocity. Brings good pop with his bat for class. More to come as he gets stronger.
Offensive Projection:
TBD for now.

Run: 5.13 seconds home to first.
Field:  Defensively showed glovework with playable actions while working the baseball. Did a nice job coming through the ball on backhands to take momentum to first. Lateral movement with feet were average.
Throw:
72 mph across the diamond.
Defensive Projection:
Corner infield as footwork progresses.

7/17/18
A right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic stance. Load is athletic, creating energy into contact. Balanced launch with a slightly uphill path to contact. Doesn’t get cheated up there. Swing is intent driven with both strength and speed to hands. Generates much more pop than frame would suggest. Bat to follow. A middle infielder that plays low and fluid through fielding sequence. Hands are soft and he does a nice job of playing the ball in front of his body. Short compact arm action with accuracy across the diamond. Skill set fits most ideally at second base presently. Two-way prospect. On the bump the right-hander starts with a slower paced tempo that picks up at the top of his leg lift. Drop and drive type that creates good direction down the mound. Arm is compact/clean through a high-¾ slot. Fastball stays mostly true through the zone, sitting 69-71 mph. Spins a near 12/6 breaking ball with gradual action at 61-63 mph. A strike thrower that was consistently in the zone with both offerings.

1/30/18

A second baseman type in the infield. Plays low through the baseball, showcasing soft hands and solid glove skills for class. Would be aided by creating angles as he tends to play from heels inside funnel. Actions appear more athletic laterally. A contact type guy from the right side. Gets foot down early while maintaining momentum through a toe turn load. Barrel stays fluid and hands stay loose piro to launch. Bat moves on a mostly level path to contact, showing feel to his pull side gap. On the mound the right-hander has three pitches to his repitour. Tempo is slower paced and arm has longer action to it through a ¾ slot. Repeats his delivery and creates tilt. Fastball stays mostly true through the zone with occasional sink at 68-70 mph. Spins a big breaking, 11/5 shaped curveball at 53-55 mph. The pitch should develop more depth as velocity increases. Also showed a changeup that has some dive to it at 55-56 mph.
