Austin Lippolis: OF/LHP, (2021) Hilliard Davidson, OH. 5-foot-8, 150-pound. Solid at the plate, the left-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 84 mph. Begins in a tall open stance with a smooth controlled load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed is efficient, displays a level swing plane and high finish. He barreled up some balls during the round. Line drive approach. Athletic his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 85 mph; has a natural exchange, athletic feet, and soft hands. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.12. Solid on the mound, has a ¾ arm angle with some arm speed. Feel type pitcher who uses some effort. Curveball (67-69 mph), changeup (68-69 mph), knuckle (67-68 mph).Sat with his fastball at 79-81 mph with a max of 82 mph;

Scouting Notes:Much like the other parts of his game, he showed impressive feel on the mound. Strike thrower that controls his body well throughout entire delivery sequence. Arm works well. Three-pitch guy who filled up the zone. Should see velocity increases as he continues to add strength.

A smooth swinger from the left side. Impressed with his feel and barrel awareness in the box. Swing is efficient and he should see easy increases in pop as natural tools progress with maturity. A contact type guy who can use the entire field. Look for him to make big jumps in measurables and pop as he matures. In the outfield he is mechanically sound and plays with confidence. Fields through the baseball well and maintains momentum into his throws. Talented overall prospect to follow.
