Hit: High hand launch with downhill path to contact. Generates natural whip through the zone with strength through contact. Strength is top tool but bat speed isn’t far behind and he showed athleticism in the box. Very solid round of BP, spraying line drives all over the yard. Power: 84 mph exit velocity. Gap abilities. 5-foot-11, 155-pound prospect. On the mound, the right handed pitcher displays some longness in arm action with his reach back over the top style. Fastball displays some jump out of hand and shows late arm-side run at 76-78 mph. Best offspeed pitch is his 64-67 mph breaking ball; breaks late on the plate with sharp 11/5 movement. Also mixes in a 66-67 mph straight changeup. In the infield he showed confident actions and efficient footwork. Glove skills are are adequate at this stage. Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced, upright stance. Initiates his lower half with big leg kick. Transfers weight well of his backside. Wraps his bat in his load creating some length to his swing. Uphill path. Top exit velocity of 78 mph off the tee.
