Body Type: 6-foot, 160-pound athletic frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Athletic actions on the mound. Very efficient lower half that creates energy and direction. Arm has some speed to it through a high-¾ slot.
Fastball: 80-83 mph. Consistent run to it, making it play up velo wise.
Curveball: 68-69 mph. Above average offering. Works on a near 12/6 plane with a nice combination of depth and bite. Very sharp at times.
Changeup: 72-73 mph. Maintains arm speed on the pitch that has late sink to it.
Pitchability: Good athlete with the ability to locate all three offerings.
Additional Comments: Definite follow. Stock will rise with velocity.
Body Type: 6-foot, 160-pound athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics : Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Quiet hands during leg kick timing trigger.
Hit: High hand launch with downhill path to contact. Generates natural whip through the zone with strength through contact. Strength is top tool but bat speed isn’t far behind and he showed athleticism in the box. Very solid round of BP, spraying line drives all over the yard.
Power: 84 mph exit velocity. Gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Multiple Roles.
Run: 7.36 60-yard dash.
Field: Well coached in the infield. Creates angles and times his feet well. Ball skills are above average for class.
Throw: Clean arm with above average strength.
Defensive Projection: TBD.
5-foot-11, 155-pound prospect. On the mound, the right handed pitcher displays some longness in arm action with his reach back over the top style. Fastball displays some jump out of hand and shows late arm-side run at 76-78 mph. Best offspeed pitch is his 64-67 mph breaking ball; breaks late on the plate with sharp 11/5 movement. Also mixes in a 66-67 mph straight changeup. In the infield he showed confident actions and efficient footwork. Glove skills are are adequate at this stage. Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced, upright stance. Initiates his lower half with big leg kick. Transfers weight well of his backside. Wraps his bat in his load creating some length to his swing. Uphill path. Top exit velocity of 78 mph off the tee.
