12/2/18
At the plate Harmon uses a toe tap load to create rhythm and power in his swing. He showed a mostly rotational bat path that seemed to be somewhat flat at times. He also showed good barrel control and made mostly quality contact during his round. Good athlete behind the dish with quickness to both feet and transfer. High motor back there. Throws showed accuracy with solid strength. Solid showing all-around.

8/5/18
5-foot-8, 135-pound. Right-handed pitcher with a small frame. Delivery has a quick tempo with some funk and deception. Uses a long arm action working out of a 3/4 slot. Fastball sat 71 to 75 mph with regular cut in action. Breaking ball has 11 to 5 shape with gradual break at 60 to 64 mph. Also, featured a knuckleball that dance at times at 60 to 62 mph. Right handed hitting catching prospect. Begins with a crowd set up, loads over backside prior to launch, hands work through the zone with a little bat path displaying a line drive approach. Registered and exit velocity of 84 mph. Throws from behind the play were accurate, using a quick transfer and release registering 68 mph on the throws and a pop time of blank. Also ran a 4.63 home to first.

8/12/18
A righty swinger that starts in an athletic stance. Uses a small leg lift for timing while taking a back load with hands. Compact stroke on a slightly uphill path. Offers a balanced combination of strength and speed through the zone. Line drive swinger that uses the entire field. Flashed authority to pull side. Behind the dish he brings above average athleticism and a high motor. Actions aren’t the cleanest but gets the job done. Constant willingness to block.  Two-way prospect. A strike thrower with athletic actions on the mound. Works through a high-¾ slot with fastball sitting 74-76 mph. The heater showed regular cut. Knuckleball was a quality offering. Tossed it often, consistently in the zone at 60-63 mph.

6/26/18
The 5-foot-8, 135-pound prospect using a quicker paced delivery with below regular to regular effort. Shows the ability to take momentum effectively down the hill and utilizing the athleticism in the delivery. On this day the arm slot was a little bit lower than we had seen in previous events with it being at more high ¾ slot. Seemed to go to more of a 2 seam fastball that featured arm side run at 72-73 mph. When wanting to keep it straight and throw to the glove side of the plate worked at 74-76 mph. Curveball was thrown for a strike throughout the entire outing with gradual 11/5 break at 59-62 mph. Two-way prospect. Uses a slight back load with hands during leg kick timing trigger. Compact stroke on a slightly downhill path. Line drive hitter with quick hands. Showed pull side tendencies in BP. Behind the dish he brings above average athleticism to the spot. High motor kid that plays fast all the time. Showed a willingness to block and receiving skills on par for class. Quick feet and accurate arm leads to respectable pop times with a chance to be even better as exchange abilities continue to quicken up.

6/19/18
The 5-foot-8, 135-pound wiry right hander prospect. Demonstrates a good deal of athleticism on the mound and throughout his delivery. Fastball stays true through the zone at 75-78 mph. Curveball is his best secondary offering showing the ability to spin the pitch as a get me over and as a putaway pitch. Works in an 11/5 manner with some late break and depth at 62-63 mph. Mixed in a knuckleball that shows potential at 63-64 mph. A right-handed bat that starts in a wider setup with a majority of weight on back side. Uses a short stride for timing with a bat tip load to gain barrel momentum. Compact, slightly uphill path. Fast hands through the zone with strength at contact. Laced line drives in BP with flashes of gap pop. Much louder BP than when we saw him in Cincy. Good athlete behind the dish. High motor kid that plays fast and hard all the time. Actions are quick without compromising fluidity. Ball comes out well with throws regularly on the bag.

5/29/18
A right-handed hitter that in an athletic setup. Goes with a knee pinch load as hands stay simple prior to launch. Vertical barrel launch gives him natural whip through the zone. Nice, level path. Swing is compact. Top of the lineup type guy with line drive capabilities. Ripped a triple in game. Behind the dish he brings above average athleticism to the spot. Transfer skills have room to clean up but he showed quickness to both feet and hands. Ball comes out well and he threw with accuracy for the most part. On the bump he works with an uptempo pace to a delivery that is relatively lower effort. Drop and drive type that creates good energy down the mound. Arm moves through a near over the top, creating a downhill plane on his 73-76 mph fastball. Good life on the pitch when in the zone. Offers both an 11/5 shaped breaking ball and knuckle ball for secondary arsenal. Breaking ball has big action and knuckle shows regular dance, tossing both in the zone regularly.

7/25/17

A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Starts weight on back leg before shifting to front side during his stride. Hands stay rhythmic prior to launch. Bat works on a slightly downhill plane with well above average bat speed. Ball gets off his bat well. A line drive type guy who worked mostly to his pull side. Behind the plate he starts in a low, athletic stance, Gets out of his crouch using aggressive footwork. Exchange skills are developing. Uses a lower than ideal slot but the ball was consistently on the bag. On the mound the righty has a slower paced tempo to a delivery that he is able to repeat. A drop and drive guy that lands in line to home plate at foot strike. Arm works through a high-¾ slot with developing arm speed. Fastball stays mostly straight through the zone. Showed the ability to use both sides of the plate with the pitch. Worked mostly with his fastball but when he did show off speed it was his breaking ball. The pitch worked on an 11/5 shape with gradual break.
