8/12/18 At third base he attacks the ball off the bat in funnel. Quick feet with occasional ability to create angles. Can make plays out of funnel. Ball skills and arm are on par to above average for class. Looks to be comfortable over there with feel for the spot. A right-handed hitter at the plate that starts in an athletic setup. Easy load into a balanced launch. Doesn’t get cheated up there swinging with regular intent. Bat speed is apparent and hands are authoritative through contact. Ball jumps when squared. Intent does cause minor barrel accuracy issues at times. Run producer type bat. Two-way prospect. On the mound the right-hander works with good tempo to a delivery that requires some effort. Tall and fall type that lands on line at foot strike before finishing to the first base line. Long back arm action through a near over the top slot. Fastball works downhill at 79-82 mph. The pitch gets on hitter quicker than velo suggest. Was a bit erratic command wise with the heater on this day. Spins a breaking ball that is a quality offering when in the zone. The pitch has sharp action on an 11/5 plane 69-74 mph. Also flashed a changeup that has a fastball look out the hand. Still developing feel for the offering. I had to check my notes watching Marquart because he looked like a different guy than we had seen in previous events. Skill set was dramatically improved across the board. A two-way prospect that took one of the louder BPs of the event and ran it up to 85 mph on the mound. Actions have room to be refined on both sides of the ball but there are definitely tools to work with. Home to 1st: 4.69 Infield Velocity: 82 Exit Velocity: 92
7/5/17 On the mound the right-hander has a slower paced tempo to a delivery that requires some effort. A tall and fall type guy who finished to the first base line. Arm action is longer with above average arm speed. Fastball works downhill with slight run and sink. Breaking ball works on an 11/5 plane with signs of sharpness. Also showed a playable changeup. A right-handed hitter that starts in a tall setup. Mechanics are simple and repeatable. Swing is compact with impressive bat speed. Bat works on a level plane with solid strength through contact. Ball jumped off his bat when he found the barrel. Swings with intent and can drive the gap with ease. Home-1st: 5.22 Exit Velocity: 89 FB: 74-78 CB: 62-65 CH: 67-68

5-foot-8, 200-pound thick build. At the plate he started with a balanced stance from the right side. He used a simple approach while taking a downward path to the ball. Exit velocity was 67 mph. In the infield he used good footwork and was able to field the ball out in front of his body. He displayed clean arm action with 73 mph arm strength across the diamond. Ran a 8.53 60 yard dash. On the mound he used a slow tempo delivery that he was able to repeat. Showed good direction to home plate. Throws from a long, high 3/4 slot with his fastball sitting 70-72 mph. His curveball was 61-64 mph with a gradual 11/5 break. Mixed in a 64-65 mph changeup.
